Sonny John Moore, known by his stage name Skrillex, is an American DJ, record producer, songwriter, singer and songwriter. Raised in northeast Los Angeles and northern California, he joined the American post-production group From First to Last as lead vocalist in 2004, and recorded two studio albums with the group before moving on to pursue a solo career in 2007. He begins his first tour. as a solo artist in late 2007. After recruiting a new line of bands, Moore joined the Alternative Press Tour to support bands like All Time Low and The Rocket Summer, and appeared on the cover of The Rocket Summer. 'Alternative Press' annual '100 Bands You Need to Know' publish. After the release of the EP Gypsyhook in 2009, Moore planned to record his first studio album, Bells, with producer Noah Shain. However, he stopped producing the album and began performing under the name Skrillex, distributing the My Name Is Skrillex EP as a free download on his official MySpace site.
He was born Sonny John Moore and won two Grammy Awards in 2012 for his popular song"Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites". MTV named him Electronic Dance Music Artist of the Year in 2011. He is also half of the techno duo Jack U.
